We The Girls / Reign
Reign: Empowering Young Women as Leaders is an initiative for young women of color focusing on leadership, health and wellness, and identity. Reign works to close the opportunity gap by providing programming and supports to schools so that young women of color can thrive.
Reign: We The Girls (WTG) is a middle school program that provides a safe space for young women of color and their allies to deepen their understanding of self, sharpen their leadership skills, enhance confidence and self-esteem, and build community.

Empowering Males of Color (EMOC)
Empowering Males of Color initiative aims to support middle schools in developing programs that enhance the student experience, increase achievement, engagement, and prepare our young men for college, career, and life.
EMOC Rites of Passage (ROP) are intentional curriculum driven chapters (cohorts) at middle schools that provide spaces for young male-identifying students, particularly those furthest from opportunity, to participate in co-curricular chapters that bolsters their sense of belonging, develop leadership, social, and civic engagement skills

Anti-Racist Educator University (ARE-U)
(ARE-U) is a professional development opportunity open to ALLDCPS educators (both teaching and support staff). Although led by the Equity Strategy & Programming Team, ARE-U is the result of the collective work and thought-partnership of DCPS educators, community leaders, and multiple Central Services teams. ARE-U participants: (1) learn about antiracist concepts and practices directly from content experts, (2) apply their learning to their practice with the support of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), and (3) showcase their knowledge and skills by earning micro-credentials (ARE-U Landing Page)
